My Healthcare Career Began In Nursing. After attending college in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area, I moved to South Florida  in 1988 to escape the winters!  My nursing focus at the time was  in Critical Care. As much as I loved this endeavor, my passion was always Cosmetic Dermatology. Leaving the intensive care unit in the ’90s, I continued my studies, eventually receiving my Doctorate from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. I then worked in Family Practice and dermatology for several years before establishing my training and patient care practice in West Palm Beach at Anushka Spa and Cosmetical Centre.

Publications

Several years ago I began writing skin care training manuals for medical professionals. Two of the most popular were ”Understanding Skin Rejuvenation” and “Sclerotherapy for the Provider”, among others. These were approved as accredited courses in their respected fields.

My most recent writing is the brief but thorough book titled “Skin Secrets Doctors Save For Celebrities”.  In it I  discuss how and why our skin ages, and what we can do to slow down or even reverse aging skin. Further, it describes methods and treatments available for softening, brightening, firming, tightening, the skin, our largest organ.

Seminars And Training

Before joining the Anushka team in late 2007, I was with Advanced Aethetics Institute, a nationally known Cosmedical company, where I was in charge of national cosmetic medical training. Presently I  conduct training and seminars for Medicis Pharmaceutical, maker of Restylane®and Perlane® ,dermal fillers and for Allergan Pharamaceuticals, maker of Botox® Cosmetic and Juvederm Ultra®,  as well my own training company, Cosmetic Med Institute.
